Everyone that attended was able to get a copy of the Close To My Heart Spring/Summer Idea book, some free paper, raffle tickets for prizes and a small gift that I made with the Cricut.
This is a picture of everyone that attended the crop.
And this is a picture of all the CTMH Consultants that attended. So happy that our team gets bigger and bigger!
Some photos of people at their seats working.
And of course Matt working the stove for us!
Here are some of the recipes that people brought to share.
This one is from Nisha - the yummy corn dip! I took this picture after everyone attacked the dip.
Corn and Bean Dip
2 cans shoepeg corn – rinsed (use yellow corn if you
cannot find white shoepeg)
2 cans black beans – rinsed
1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced
8 ounces crumbled feta cheese
Dressing:
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup light olive oil
¼ cup sugar
Garlic powder & pepper to taste
Mix everything together the night before EXCEPT the feta
cheese. Add the feta cheese right before
serving. Make sure to drain the corn and beans well before mixing in the dressing. This dip is good to eat with Multi-Grain Scoops chips. Yum!
The other recipe is from Brette - her Protein Shake Mix Bar Recipe (from Arbonne). Unfortunately I did not take a picture of it, but it was very yummy! If you want to order any of the protein mix, contact me and I can give you Brette's information.
Protein Shake Mix Bar Recipe
Ingredients:
• 2 cups organic peanut butter
• 1 ¾ cups honey or agave nectar
• 2 ¼ cups Arbonne Essentials™ Protein Shake Mix powder* (use 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla)
• 3 cups rolled oats
Instructions:
1. Mix peanut butter and honey in a microwaveable bowl.
2. Heat for 60–90 seconds. Mix well.
3. Add Protein Shake Mix powder and mix well.
4. Add rolled oats and mix gently.
5. Spread in a 9x13 pan.
6. Refrigerate 1 hour.
7. Cut into 24 squares.
I hope you all had a great time! Not sure when I will be planning another Crop, but will definitely let you know. I am trying to find some space in the South Shore, so if you know of a good facility, let me know.
Cheers and happy scrapping!
Arlene
