Believe Scrapbook Workshop

I just love how my Christmas Photos from last year went with the Believe paper pack! I couldn't wait to scrap these photos. For the first layout, I changed it up a little bit to include our 4x6 flip flaps. So instead of just having 2 photos on the left page, I used 2 flip flaps to expand it to have 6 photos! How cool is that? I love that I could instantly just add more photos to my layout!

I will be teaching this workshop at my home on Thursday, January 5th at 7:00pm. If you are interested in attending, you must RSVP by December 15.

Wonderland Holiday Cards

I was playing with our Wonderland Paper Pack and came up with these cards for my upcoming Holiday Card Workshop. I can't take all the credit as I copied some of these designs from others. However, I just love the results and wanted to share these cards with you. I hope you like them!

2012 Calendar Workshop

It's been a very busy couple of weeks as I cut, cut, and cut these calendar kits for my upcoming 2012 Calendar workshop. I must say that these calendars are just sooo cute! I just finished this batch of kits for my third workshop this season to teach this project. It is stocked full of products! In each kit you get a full Paper Pack of our new Elemental Paper Pack, corresponding Elemental Complements Dimensional Elements, Display Album, calendar and additional embellishments. Oh and did I say - I pre-cut everything for you?

Fall Cropping Event

I am happy to say that I held my first Cropping Event ever! I had a great time seeing old and new friends. I rented a room at Bedford Town Hall for 12 whole hours. Let's just say that when I told the people that I needed the room for that amount of time they couldn't believe that a group of ladies could sit in a room for that long working on our scrapbook projects and layouts. I guess they don't know us too well - if  we could, we would have probably be in that room till midnight or even longer!


These are the small gifts that I made for everyone that attended. I used our Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge for the container and the leaves. Inside was some candy and a small stamp set.

 

I had hourly prize drawings and a special prize for those that brought a snack to share. Big thank you to all that brought snacks! My husband catered the food for us (lunch and dinner). Thanks Matt! He made us yummy Taco Salad, Mac & Cheese with ham and bacon, Noodles with carrots, chicken and snow peas and chicken wings. For a special treat we also had chocolate covered strawberries.

Overall it was a great time. I got asked when the next Crop was going to be as people were leaving out the door! So let's just say the next day I called the lady to see if I could reserve the room. So....... save the date ladies, the next crop will be on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Who wants to attend???

November Scrapbook Workshop - Mischief

This is my First Post! Welcome to my Blog! I thought for my first post I would show more details for my next workshop that will be held in my home in Quincy on Nov 3rd. In this workshop we will use the Mischief Paper Pack. This paper pack is perfect for your Halloween, Fall and Pumpkin Picking Photos. 

This is what Layout 1 looks like

This is a close-up view of the layout. In this layout we will stamp with the Colonial White Pigment inks. The Pigment inks takes a little longer to dry so we will use the heat gun to help set the images.  Don't you just love the look of Midnight felt shapes? They are just sooo cute!

This is the second layout that we will be doing. This layout comes from our Magic book. If you don't want to do Halloween photos, you can easily change the title to for other events like Thanksgiving, Fall, etc.

Since I was feeling creative, I thought I would just make a 3rd layout to show what you can do with the new Mischief Complements Rub-Ons. They were so much fun to play with! I was able to layer the rub-ons to show a really cool affect.

This is a close up of the layout so that you can see more of the rub-ons. The shapes were cut-out using our new Close To My Hart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. Love this cartridge!!

I can't wait till Halloween to add the photos of the kids. I know this layout will be perfect for the photos I will take.
